If the indicator light is not flashing, do nothing. Press and hold the Samsung headset's multi-function button for about eight seconds. The indicator light will start to flash and then turn a solid blue. Once the light is a solid blue, the headset if ready for pairing and you can release the button. Press the left selection key to bring up the E71's main menu. Scroll to "Connectivity" and select it; then scroll to "Bluetooth" and select it.
Scroll to the "Paired Devices" tab and select it. Select "Options" on this tab and choose "New Paired Device" from the list of options. The E71 will search for nearby Bluetooth devices and display then on a list on the phone. If you have already searched for Bluetooth devices, the old list will appear and you will have to select "More devices" to get the E71 to search for any new devices, like the Samsung headset.
Scroll to the Samsung headset on your list of Bluetooth devices and select it. Enter in "" when the E71 asks for a passcode. Pairing a Nokia E71 with bluetooth Post by RobEvo5 » 03 Jun pm Anyone managed to pair the same phone or know whether you can pair this phone with bluetooth?. I'm managed to get the Z4 into Pairing mode, but its just won't see my Nokia E71, and yes I have turned the bluetooh on my nokia. I'm off to le-man next week and would be good to get my phone paired up if I can so appreciate feedback.
Re: Pairing a Nokia E71 with bluetooth Post by RustyZ4 » 04 Jun am I once had real problems trying to pair a nokia with the zed, stangely after many attempts, i found that if i switched the blue tooth off and on again on the phone, it paired instantly, i also noticed that i had to re- pair it everytime i connected the phone to any other blue tooth! Re: Pairing a Nokia E71 with bluetooth Post by T1berious » 06 Jun pm It should switch to "pairing successful" after a while.
I had all sorts of pain with mine. Regards, T1b.
